Copyright Policy
Original artwork only
MangaMe creates original manga-style artwork from the photo you upload. We do not reproduce, imitate or sell artwork of copyrighted characters, franchises, logos or brands. Requests to imitate a specific artist's or studio's copyrighted work will be refused.
What content can't be used?
To keep MangaMe safe, respectful, and legally compliant, we cannot create or print designs containing:
- Copyrighted characters, logos, or artwork you do not own or have permission to use. This includes characters from anime, manga, movies, games, comics, and other franchises.
- Brand names, trademarks, or company logos without authorization.
- Photos, artwork, or personal information belonging to someone else without their consent.
- Sexual or pornographic content, including sexualized nudity. Any sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited.
- Hateful or discriminatory content targeting people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or another protected characteristic.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or content intended to humiliate another person.
- Graphic violence, gore, abuse, or content that promotes self-harm.
- Content supporting terrorism, extremist organizations, or violent criminal activity.
- Illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive content, including fake documents, impersonation, scams, and misleading political or public-interest material.
- Content that promotes illegal drugs, dangerous weapons, or other unlawful products or activities.
What is welcome: your own photos, your own ideas, and general themes. "A futuristic ninja", "a magical school hero", "a retro manga adventurer" — all fine. What we cannot do is copy a specific protected character or imitate a named artist's work, so a prompt asking for one may be declined.
We may reject a generation request, remove uploaded content, cancel an order, or restrict an account when content violates these rules. If we do cancel an item for prohibited content:

By uploading an image or submitting a prompt, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use that content. Not sure whether something is allowed? Email hello@mangame.store before you order. It is far easier to check first than to sort out afterwards.
Your photo
You must own the rights to the photo you upload or have permission from everyone shown in it. You retain all rights to your photo; it is used only to generate your artwork and is never stored on our servers — once the artwork is created, the photo is discarded.
The generated artwork
The artwork created for your order is unique to you. You may use it on your purchased items for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Reporting infringement
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, email hello@mangame.store with: (1) a description of the copyrighted work, (2) a link to the content in question, (3) your contact details, and (4) a statement, made in good faith, that the use is unauthorised. We investigate all reports promptly and remove infringing content.
