How It Works

Upload a photo, choose one of 12 manga styles, and our AI draws original manga artwork of the people in it. You position that artwork on the shirt, pick a colour and size, and we print it and post it. Designing takes about a minute. The shirt is made to order in 2–5 business days, then shipped from the facility nearest you.

The four steps

1. Upload a photo

JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to 10 MB. Clear, well-lit photos where faces are visible work best. Single portraits, couples, groups and pets all work. Any background is fine — the photo is only a reference for the drawing, and it is never stored on our servers.

2. Choose a manga style

Twelve styles, from clean ink linework to shonen action, shojo, chibi, cyberpunk and watercolour. You can add a short note of your own too — "wearing samurai armour", "rain in the background" — and the AI works it in.

Every visitor gets 2 free previews. Sign in and you get 3 more, 5 in total, refreshing every 7 days.

3. Position it on the shirt

Drag the artwork to move it, and rotate, scale or flip it until it sits where you want. Pick from 20 shirt colours and sizes S to 3XL. You can also remove the background so the artwork prints straight onto the shirt colour. What you see in the preview is exactly what we print.

4. Order, and we print it

Your artwork is prepared as a full-size print file and sent to the production facility closest to you. Nothing is printed until you order, and each shirt is made individually.

What you get

  • A Gildan 5000 Unisex Classic Tee — heavyweight 5.3 oz cotton, classic straight cut, seamless collar, taped shoulders.
  • Your artwork printed with DTF (direct-to-film) across a 12 × 16 inch front print area, which keeps edges sharp and colour rich on dark shirts as well as light ones.
  • Artwork that is unique to you. Nobody else gets the same drawing.

How long it takes

Production is 2–5 business days wherever you are. Delivery depends on your country — roughly 4–6 business days in the USA, 3–6 in Canada and the UK, 3–9 across Europe and 5–10 in Australia and New Zealand. The full table for every destination is in our Shipping Policy.

Where it is printed

Orders are routed automatically to the nearest facility that stocks your colour — the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain or Latvia for Europe, and Australia. When you pick your colour and size we tell you whether that exact combination is made in your region or shipped in, so there are no customs surprises.

Common questions

Can you turn a photo into manga art?

Yes. Upload a photo and our AI draws original manga artwork of the people in it, in one of 12 styles. It is a new drawing rather than a filter applied to your photo, so the result is artwork that did not exist before. It takes under a minute.

How long does it take to get a custom manga t-shirt?

The design takes about a minute. The shirt is printed to order in 2–5 business days, then shipped from the facility nearest you — roughly 4–6 business days in the USA, 3–6 in Canada and the UK, 3–9 across Europe, 5–10 in Australia and New Zealand.

Is the printed shirt exactly what I saw in the preview?

Yes. You approve the artwork on the shirt before you pay, and that approved file is what goes to print. Printed colour usually reads a little softer than a bright screen, because ink on cotton reflects light rather than emitting it.

How sharp is the print?

The artwork is generated at roughly 75 DPI across the 12 × 16 inch print area, then upscaled to the 300 DPI file our printer requires. Upscaling makes the file larger rather than more detailed, so the on-screen preview is an honest guide. Bold manga linework stays clean; very small lettering is where softness shows.

What happens to the photo I upload?

It is used once to generate your artwork and then discarded. It is never stored on our servers.

How many free previews do I get?

Two without an account, five if you sign in. They refresh every 7 days.
